I imagine this varies greatly based on where--montreal versus vancouver verses a smaller city/town. Sorry

Depends where in Canada ou're talking about. On the average, I'd say between C$700-C$800/month for a one-bedroom apartment in a decent area.

However, in Toronto, it's not unheard of to be paying C$1,000/month for a wee little place where you can reach your kitchen sink from the bed.
