I've had a Premier Bank card with the $200 limit (and all the fees) for about 5 or 6 months now. They told me on my last payment i was elgilble for a 2nd card (not an increase a whole new card). My first limit was only 200 and i was told the 2nd would be a min of 250, but thats still really low especially because of the fees. Who all has had these cards and how much was your 2nd credit limit? I hate all the fees but i'm loving what it's doing for my credit.

  1. Never heard of that one, then what's the purpose of the 2nd card (whole new card) if they are going to only increase you buy $50.00?

  2. DO NOT get a second account from them.  It's one thing to pay those fees to get a first card so you can work on building your credit.  But you do not need a second such account.

Hopefully, you are using this first card and paying it in full every month.  Don't carry balances.  Keep it paid off.  In another 6 months or so, you should have enough credit history to get a normal credit card -- one that does not have any fees, with a higher limit, and probably a better interest rate too.
