Most people don't do that; the parents are in charge of the homeschooling.

What you are looking for is called private tutoring, which people like Will Smith can afford for his kids, but the average person can't. You should maybe look into online schooling instead.

That is not home schooling, that is receiving instruction from a private tutor.

Home schooling is where your parents are your primary instructors until you are capable of independent study; then their role changes to guidance only.

The cost of true home schooling can range from free, to approximately $1000.00 per year at the high end.

The choice is yours.

It would be cheaper to send your child to private school than to have a private tutor.

Cheaper than private school would be distance learning.

Homeschool would be the cheapest. Curriculum for our homeschool, with me teaching, is about $50.00 a year plus internet access and gas to go to library.  We borrow curriculum from friends, buy used text books at yard sales and Goodwill stores, and use the library, TV and internet.
