  1. £24.50 one way and the duration of the journey is 1h50m.

    You can book online:

    http://www.directferries.co.uk/

  2. No harm to you but it would have been quicker for you to just go to the stena line website

    http://www.stenaline.co.uk/stena_line/gb...

P.S. dont take the slow ferry, it's takes forever and the view isn't all that good. In fact you cant see anything

  3. Go to Stenna line site for up to date fares, think its less than £20  About an hour and threequarters on normal ferry, but a lot quicker on high speed ferry, but more expensive....Wouldn't have thought you needed to book in November. but beware winter storms can delay things a lot....

  4. It will take you just under 2 hours travel, (this is the 'fast' crossing) depending on age and time of travel, but average prices are between £60 and £70 return. Always book in advance, as the further ahead you do, the likelier it will be to get cheaper tickets.

  5. Its not necessary to book ahead but the price goes up now the later you leave it and the busier it gets. The ferry is 1hr 50 min the slow one is over 3hrs and is really more for lorries and as someone else pointed out theres not much of a view really. The only good thing about the slow boat in november is its more likely to travel in bad weather than the HSS(fast boat)
