  1. First time offenders without restraints (seat-belts) is $130

(Note: total bail for first-time offenders for not wearing a seat belt in California ranges from $80 to $91).

That bail yes could be possible for both tickets but as long as you now have proof, it would seem that bail will be reduced and the ticket be dismissed if the proof is dated before the ticket was issued...................

  2. The driving without proof could have kicked it up that high, but i dont knwo for sure, Good luck with that, I got nailed for the same thing.. But i didnt actually HAVE a belt. the floor where it mounts rusted out. lol

  3. Yes, the fine of $450 is possible...If no insurance was part of the citation and you had insurance at the time of the ticket, take the proof of insurance with you to court and the judge will dismiss that portion of the case.

Do not under any circumstances ignore or fail to appear in court...A bench warrant can be issued for your arrest...Strange how these little details were not covered during driver's ed.
