Well if it is $1.50 a litre then it has dramatically dropped since June which I doubt given the rise in oil prices!

A good source to check out fuel prices in Europe generally is the following site http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/fue...

It shows that the average price in June for Switzerland was 1.95 swiss francs per litre.  This equates to 1.95 US dollars per litre

Actual gas prices in Switzerland, as reported on thursday and friday are as follows.

Regular (91) per litre at Emmental:

1,93 sfr - 1,18 € - $ 1,90

Super (95) per litre at Bargen:

2,04 sfr - 1,25 € - $ 2,01

Diesel per litre at Zurich:

2,235 sfr - 1,37 € - $ 2,20
