  1. Let's put it this way, I don't need s*x anymore, I get f***** by TELKOM every day...

  2. I pay R200 a month for a wireless modem from i-burst.

  3. If my pc in on then the internet is running. I pay R342.00 a month. no caps. No telephone lines. No Iburst. I download as i want when i want and i pay R342.00 a month and its legal.

  4. ''South Africa'' is two words, and they are capitalised. The same for  ''Cape Town.''

It costs twenty bananas, two guavas, and a bunch of grapes. Payable to the Chief bush telegraph monkey.

  5. it's fee from your cell phone. yes we do have cell phone's in SA

  6. from about R100/month for dial up if you have a landline and a pc. ASDL/highspeed starts at R200/300 per month. otherwise you cell phone might have intenet access and that price depends on your cell phone package

  7. Depending on what you do  -  i pay R200 a month for a wireless modem from i-burst and if you download more that you've paid for, you pay more

  8. It depends wheather you are using ADSL , Dial Up or Smoke signal, but with paraffin prices escalating and shortage of wood smoke signal is also getting expensive.

Just kiddin mate , i have no idea , my internet she is FREE

  9. Way too much!!!!!!!

Cape town, Joburg, even the plattelands, we pay thru our noses for internet!!

    Telkom enjoys s******g us around.

  10. Here are your choices

    Telkom

    Neotel

    Iburst

  11. Alot more than most other places. I pay R200 for 1GB on my ADSL with a 512kb line. I know in the UK you can get a 20GB cap on a 8mb line for GBP15. It makes me depresed knowing it is one more way that we are  being ripped off.

  12. It's ridiculous what they charge here for Internet. We have a 3GIG cap for about 500 Rand per month.

I could actually live with that if the speed wasn't so unbelievably slow. Watching movies online or even download them is still a dream down here.

I really hope that competition will solve the problem one day, especially with the launch of NEOTEL.

    *edit

cheryl, please enlighten me. who is your internet provider?

  13. it's about 45000
