  1. On most international flights, your free baggage allowance is one bag per person with a maximum weight of 20-25 kg (depending on the airline).

    On a British Airways flight from the UK to Pakistan, the limit is 23 kg, assuming you're flying economy.  Higher classes have higher baggage limits.

    You can carry two 23-kg bags if you are flying from North America, South America, and parts of Africa.


  2. It depends on the airline.  The standard is each checked bag can be no heavier than 50 pounds, and you may have a limit of two bags.
