How much is the most money you ever found?

When I was a cashier at a grocery store, a woman left a bank envelope with about $500 dollars in it.  I totally could have kept it cause she didn't come back for a few hours and didn't know for sure where she left it.  I gave it to her and she gave me $20.

The most I ever lost was $300.  I withdrew the $ from the bank to bet on a horse and was at the store buying some soda.  When I reached for my wallet, the $ dropped out of my pants and on to the floor but I didn't realize it until I was outside.  It was goner than gone.  So much for good karma coming back to you...

I think I found a waded up 100 bill when I was just a little kid.  But my mom took it and gave it to the store clerk.
