And how much is an all day ticket? I've searched all over but I can only seem to find the schedules and the map but not prices. Thanks in advance for your help.

  1. @ Abdoucon: Rillifan's right. The English version of the RATP website gives only 10% of the info available on the French site, and Mobilis is not mentioned. They only have the Paris metro ticket or the scam Paris Visite pass.

A one-way ticket from CDG to Paris is 8.20 so you better get the Mobilis pass if you are going back the same day.

  2. A one day pass (called a Mobilis) for zones 1-5 costs 12.50 euros.

The reason you can't find it is that it is only on the French language RATP site. They, apparently,  don't want English speakers to find out about it.

EDIT: On the French website of the RATP move the cursor to "Titres et Tariffs which prduces a drop down menu. Click "Tous les Tariffs" which takes you to a page where (down the page) you see "dont le prix est établi de gare à gare" Click on this which takes you a page with a box in which you see "Saisissez votre gare de Banlieue" Enter the name of the station you want to go to (example: ROISSY - AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE) and then press "Rechercher." You then get the ticket price for traveling to or from that destination and central Paris.

EDIT@Abdoucon The Mobilis is not shown on the English language version of the RATP website. That's not a cliche that's whats called a fact.

  3. rilifan... plz stop the cliché ! it's quite easy to find the english version of the RATP website : just click the UK flag on top right. you even have spanish, dutch, german and italian versions.

well, as in every airports the metro tickets are expensive because you have to pay an "airport tax".

the Paris (Luxembourg or Chatelet, it's the same) to CDG Airport ticket is 8.20 €.

i think you can use the Mobilis ticket "zone 1-5" (12.50 €).

it's abt 35 minutes trip (if you take the train without stop between CDG Airport and Paris-Gare du Nord).
