How much is the price for a 3 rooms appartment in a safe and nice building in front of the Copacabana Beach?

Contact Vanna at www.vannarioflats.com.br.  She's fair and will fix you up with a place, just tell her what you want.  The good/bad thing with Vanna is that she needs a cash deposit (I would guess 75 euros) as a secuirty deposit when you get there.  She keeps your money in an envelope in her safe and gives you back your actual money when you leave the place (provided there is no damage--I haven't been charged yet and I've used her 10-15 times).  She'll give you an actual contract and the deposit is listed in the contract.  Very legit lady who will tell you all the lastest scams, places to avoid, what to see, etc.

150,000 euros gets you beach front in Barra, smaller apartments or Recreio, but even though the beach in both areas is cleaner than the south zone, I really dislike both.

Why don't you look for nice apartments in Leblon, Gávea, Jardim Botanico?

Older buildings which are a lot better, larger and in areas.

Stay away from Copacabana! Unless you are after prostitutes and pimps.

Beach front in Copa runs a lot higher, if it's good.

And in Leblon and Ipanema you wont find anything for less than 500,000, if you do.

Well... for this price you can have a nice apartment in Copacabana with 3 rooms, but not in front of the beach.

To be sincere, is not so easy to find apartments to buy in front of the beach, but I think it would cost from €200.000.

You can find some options in this website, but it is in portuguese... sorry...
