    NOTE: A Air Force Captain is classified as an O-3 pay grade. If this site doesn't work try googling 2008 Air Force Pay Scale. It should bring up a whole lot of websites that have the military pay charts, and other military bonus and benefits

  3. No, they're not tax exempt. If they're deployed to a combat area the base pay while they're there is tax exempt. BAH is tax exempt. Separate rations is tax exempt.
