So in California the state tax is 8.75% times the object

8.75% = .0875 (as a decimal)

So multiply .0875 and 89.99

that is 7.87

So now you add 7.87 to 89.99

I don't really know but it looks like its gonna be 97.49$ I think the tax is 8.50.
