How much is this boat worth?

1990 MODEL STRIKER BASS BOAT

15 feet

fiber glass

40 HP . MERCURY single outboard

2 live wells

power trim

built in charger

comes with the trailer

the boat is in great shape.

So how much is it worth

No too awfully much 2-3  4 grand tops.  One its fiberglass and that does tend to deteriorate badly over time.  The motor may have something really small wrong with it such as a gasket or something and you wouldn't no it until quit some time later.  The plumbing for the live wells and pump may not be in the best of condition.  Usually mice and squirrels get into it an chew on it.  I know that had happened to a friend of mines boat.  Boat trailer are tricky to.  Its a good possibility that the wheel bearings are going out or something in that area.  In general a boat that old shouldn't coast too much because there's no telling what all its been through and when 1 thing goes at the rest tends to follow.  My opinion its best to stay away from watercraft that are that old if your wanting to get out on the water soon and have no worries while your out.

First of all, it is 18 years old. I would be thinking in the $2-3000 range, maybe.

have no price, but don't get sucked into the senimental value that the owner  may  place on you, like, it's was so much fun or i always have best fishing time with it...you don't need to pay for his great times....just look at the value of it...old motors are cheap...old boats even great shape are old.....although, boats usually last a long time because of little use, couple of times a year. If the price is right, grab it.
