How much is this coin worth in America?

I found this coin and i don't know anything about it besides that its Mexican money, it was made in 1988, and it says its worth $1000 in Mexico!! How much is it worth here in America??

= 1 new mexico peso

= 1 United States dime.

I doubt if it has any significant value as a collectors' item since it is only 20 years old.
