How much is this coin worth?

Question

it is a .999, 1 oz silver panda coin. it is certified by the new york mint, it even has a certificate of authenticity. also, the front of the coin is colored

The Chinese silver pandas are not colored so someone must of had it painted like the New York Mint which may not even be a mint. There are to many gimmicks out there when it coines to coins and too many people get taken. If you go to a coin dealer all he will pay is the spot price of silver the day you sell it minus a percentage so he can make a profit.  It is not a coin that has a great collector following and they are hard to sell on the secondary market. Most sell for $20 to $25 but with silver going up it may now be up to $30-$35 retail. Your best bet keep it for silver will be higher by the end of the year.
