How much is this dollar worth?

my dad left me a silver dollard when he pass it is in mint condition it was made in 1865 does anyone knoe how much it is worth?

It's value will depend on it's condition, rarity, and mint mark.  It will also depend in the design, walking liberty, seated liberty, etc.  The 2 web sites below might help you.  You could also check at a couple of coin dealers in your area.  Whatever you do, don't polish or shine it.  This will lower the value unless you know exactly what you're doing.

do not trust any value that you get here... go to an appraiser NOT an antiques collector or seller, pay his fee and find out
