My son's dr put him on two A.D.H.D medicine. How much is to much. I don't feel right on giving that much at once. I even told her that. One is strattera 25mg and that other is vyvanse 30mg. He takes the vyvanse in morning and strattera in morning. Strattera is 1 pill for 4 days and then 2 pills for each day. Along with vyvanse. Is she right or is she going to overdose my son. He is only 5yrs and 11 months old. Weight is 50 pounds.

  1. Your son's doctor has raised the doses and added a second medication for more complete control of the symptoms of the ADHD. I'm sure she has experience doing this and is not overdosing your son. The drugs have different mechanisms, which is why she put him on both.

If you disagree with her, get a second opinion from a child psychiatrist.
