How much does your electric bill run? Please include the type of usage and the size of home.

It just seems like ours is amazingly too high every month and the lack of usage.

  4. its to much for u to handel. im not posting how much the bill is and size of home. lets just say its a ton of money and it sucks.

  5. less than yours from the sound of it and my water even cheaper becuse im on a meter..

  6. I live in a 1 bdrm apt.  I use an electric

cook stove.  I'm on the computer a lot.

I only use lights in the room I'm using.

Our local temperature seldom gets to 80o

in the summer, so I don't need A/C.

I pay about $15/mo. in summer and $25/mo

    in winter.  (electric only.)

NOTE;  Look on your bill and get your

electric meter number.  Call the company

and ask what day your meter is read.

Beginning on that day, go to your meter and

write down the numbers.  when you get your

bill, the usage should show close to the

difference you wrote down from one month

    to the next.

ANOTHER NOTE:  Go outside and watch

that little, flat silver disk go around.  If it is

moving fast, something is wrong.  You are

either pulling too much electricity and need

to cut back somewhere OR it could possibly

be that a neighbor has hooked into your

electric.  that is common in some areas

around here.  It is also easy to cut into

    your land-line phone.

  10. $220 a month for 3,100 Sq foot house. and we live in Arizona its over 110 degrees here. We have it at about 82-86 degrees no higher no lower.

  11. $160 for a 1600 sq ft, it was $300 but I put more insulation in the attic and replaced the weather stripping around the exterior doors also the temp was set on 70 now its on 75.
