I want to reduce mine to 150/month (for myself) but I think I spend about 300/month. This also includes everytime I eat out.

  1. $300 for two of us (adults), that includes eating out 3-4 times per month.

  2. Try to not eat out for a month, you might be shocked.  Also you really do save by buying at Walmart Supercenter, and buying their generic brands(Great Value).

  3. 5-600 with 3

  4. I spend approximately $120 per month for myself. I make a list and stick to it. I try not to impulse buy while grocery shopping.

  5. Well for my parents, and I, meaning three people, we spend about $150 or so on groceries a week, sometime $200, so for groceries $700 and then eating out probably for eating out during the week $250 would be a fair estimate so, overall $950 divided by 3 is about $316 a month.

  6. I live in NY and my family's bill is at least $400.

  7. $200-$250 a month.

I'm a vegetarian. It's just me in my home. I can make one meal and it will last all week for most of it. Soy milk lasts for over a month. The only thing I seem to have to buy weekly is my produce and with it being summer and the farmers market out on the streets--it's easy to buy 'cheap' right now. Plus, if you know where to go--you can always find produce cheap.

Needless to say, I don't eat out too much. I may be vegetarian, but I try to eat vegan as much as possible. (which is a challenge in a small town) I'd up it to $300 a month if I go out with friends.

  8. About $130 in groceries every week for 4 of us, plus another $100 or so going out.

  9. for myself and my 12 yr old 600 to 700 per month if we eat cheap. be glad you don't live in california
