My travelcard has increased by £7 since LAST YEAR. A £7 increase in one year for the same level of service.

How much has your travel fare increased by this year?

Many years ago i learned that public transport is ridiculously expensive, very slow & totally unreliable so now i commute by car

Mine has not gone up at all, in fact it hasn't gone up in the last few years.

Funny how everyone moans about prices going up yet they continue to keep paying the money.

I think by about £80-90. Currently £1094. Eek. :o(

We have to pay over £250 per year for my son's bus pass to take him to his collage.  Buses go no faster than 40 mph.  seats ripped and stink, graffiti on walls. The money has to be paid  in advance.  2 years ago same buses same conditions a bargain of £189.  That's an increase of  Ã‚£61 over two years for a service most adults wouldn't use.  Sadly It's called inflation, I call it a rip off.
