  1. When it starts raining I go out with some dish detergent and a sponge, then I wash my car during the rain storm. It saves having to use my water, thanks to nature.

  2. unfortunately my rental community bills us all in one large bill divided so i pay around 60$ a month and I only live in a 2/2.

I try to wash small dishes by hand and not take super long showers. Also, when it comes to laundry and the dishwasher I use the water saver option.

  3. i conserve water by making sure i water ONLY when it is needed, by never having running water that im not using, and by taking as quick a shower as possible. energy star dishwashers and clothes washers are great too!

  4. I have no idea. My landlord pays the water bill so I dont have to worry about conserving water.

  5. We don't pay for our water here in the north.  But we conserve as much as possible anyway.  Some of the ways include - only full loads of laundry, no dishwasher, wash a full sink of dishes once per day, do not leave the water running while you do dishes or brush your teeth, water your plants with rain water or leftover cold tea or coffee, don't flush every time, ie. "if it's yellow, let it mellow - if it's brown, flush it down", only wash your car once a week with a bucket of soapy water not a hose, put jugs of water in the fridge to cool down so you don't run the tap trying to get cold water, make sure your taps don't drip, take short showers every second day unless you are doing physical work and need to shower daily.  The list goes on, but you get the picture.
