  1. The rule for live rock is 1-2 pounds per gallon of water so add 15-30 pounds of live rock. You can add more depending on your preference, but never less.


  2. it all depends on what you're doing with your tank. if its a fish only then u wont need a whole lot (0-15 lbs.) unless you like the look but if its a reef tank then u might be needing 15-30 lbs also live rock can get pricy so for your 15 gallon i would say 15-30 lbs

  3. Usually about 1-2 pounds for every gallon like mentioned above. But might I suggest instead of getting 15-30 pounds of all live rock, buy about half that amount in live rock, and the other half base rock. The base rock should be porous rock or dead coral. You can find it at any store that sells marine stuff. By curing the live rock with base rock, eventually the base rock will become live as well, and this will save you tons of money considering the price of live rock compared to the base rock.
