How much longer can you cruise the carribean without a passport???

Aug. 2008 is the dead line.  No other extensions has been filed.  

Immigration is getting tougher.  Applied for a Passport, even if you do not need it.

But just remember in Puerto Rico & the US VIrgin Islands you will never need a passport if you are a US citizen :)

However the cruiseline might ask for one, def if you got to other islands.

depends on wat cruise line.. we went on carnival 2 weeks ago and there deadline was aug. and we are lookin at goin on the royal carribean and there deadline is jan. 2009.. so it really depends on what cruise line you go through.. and check on there web sites that should say and if not call the number and ask someone and they will tell you.. hope this helpppedd!!!

Some cruise lines require passports now. The website says soon.  My recommendation is apply now or call the cruise line you are interested in and ask what their requirements are.

The State Department's website will have this information - it is in a state of flux now.
