  1. A very long time !!!

  2. FWIW, I heard somebody saying oil will be lower by a good measure in a few months.

I think we are near a bottom with the dollar vs. the Euro.  The balance of trade is shifting. That is a balancing factor.

But a real recovery of the dollar will take either a booming economy or a severe reduction in the budget deficit. And you might not see a more balanced budget until we see the better economy.

How soon that will happen is anybody's guess. But I think not for a while.

On the other hand I have heard Cramer say earlier something like that if you liked the oil companies when oil was at $75 why wouldn't you like them if oil falls to $100?

  3. Until W and his band of thieves gets run out of office in November

  4. yeah very long... The crude oil will hit the 150 soon and the euro will break above the 1.60... what do you think?!!!

  5. I think the run in both is just about over for both. Longer term oil may have a run it as we are running out of oil, but short term it's run up too far and too fast. As for the Euro, it can't run up for ever. Although I will say this, as Europe runs away from socialism and Obama runs towards it, longer term things could get worse. Obama's plans to increase all sorts of taxes, ban drilling, stop nuclear power, add more government regulations, put up trade barriers, could ruin the dollar.
