  1. I don't foresee a time when humans will outgrow racism. I know it is a bold statement to say but the heart of a man is corrupt from its youth up. Although we see a glimmer of hope sometimes man still exist; and whose heart can be vile and we procreate. My cousin had a best friend, who was a white little girl, very sweet. She suddenly stopped playing with my cousin because her father said that she should not be getting so close to African American people. You may say that when she is older she will do what her heart desire but I think that is what I hope, but she is now like clay that is being molded by her environment. Also racism exist within some races. So races have to learn to love themselves and also fight to teach others to love different races, and it is easier to hate than love.

  2. 5 years, 2 months.

  3. A fear of difference will always be part of the human psyche.  That fear will inevitably lead to the ignorant amongst us not being able to absorb and appreciate the differences and to develop and generate a mis-trust of those differences.  Racism is just that - a refusal to learn about, understand and accept the differences between people.

  4. as long as there is ignorance!

  5. forever until mankind dies.

  6. Honestly racism will always exist because it is within human nature to look for differences and understand them and for some people understanding means not accepting others, jokes, etc. and a lot of it is due to how they where raised.

  7. I think it will improve with time. Children don't seem to have the prejudices we grew up with. At least not as much. In the future there will be more interracial people, so not as many people will be 'different'.

  8. its been going on way before any of us were born.. it's just something people need to get over and ignore.. no i dont see a time where humans will outgrow it.. there is always going to be hate among people.  this world is an imperfect place.

  9. it will last fore ever

  10. It will last for thousands of years.

It is in our survival instinct to be guarded around strangers.  The way one identifies strangers is by physical looks, and their dress.

In order to erase "racism", the human race's gene pool would have to become homogenized.  With all of the cultures that predominately stay within their own culture when it comes to marriage, it will take tens of thousands of years.

Or... a great calamity befalls the planet and only one type of people survive.

When "racism" is gone, it will already have been replaced by some other divisive problem.

  11. As long as there are different races.

  12. Hopefully the human race will outgrow it.  However, it has gone on for many thousands of years.  It is the reason why the Neanderthals were wiped out by humans and why there are not 2 species of sentient humanoids on this planet.
