How much makeup is too much?

Question

I don't wear that much makeup at once but I have a lot of different items and I can't resist buying a new lipgloss or mascara! How much makeup do you own and how much do you think is too much?

mmm as faar as makeup is concered...i dont think if u reguraly use the stuff that u ahve ...will be too much....all u have to do is keep usnig all the stuff that u have in right proprotions....nothing is too much....but dont buy the stuff u knw that u will never wear and u r still buying it!

I just own a few things at a time...I just have a concealer just in case...foundation...eyeliner mascara...and blush...and i just use them till they run out then i go and replace it...LOL i always do my make up exactly the same...and i rarely use eyeshadow...because to me its the one thing that gives it away that your wearing make up...you cant really wear eyeshadow natural...unless its nude...or skintone...

When it's still in the packaging after a year, you know you are buying too much makeup.  Find a new obsession and buy shoes.

Never overload on foundation as you'll have line on the side of your face and you'll look orange this is too much.

You can never overload on lipgloss put it on generously.

Never too much eyeliner put on only half the bottom of your eye and quite a bit on the top but dont overload on it as your eyes will look smaller and too much.

Never wear much blusher just a couple of strokes with your blusher brush will do the job.

Finally If you wear lots of mascara your lashes will become clumpy not long and curled.

when some of your stuff is growing mould, or that you cant even remember buying.

now when i buy makeup, i buy stuff that i can use anytime (like neutral colored eyeshadows, mascaras, liquid eyeliners). i dont buy into makeup trends, like bright eyeshadows or anything. if you have the basics, you can still follow seasonal trends eg. bronzers.

You know it's too much when you can write your name in a person's cheek when they're wearing foundation :D

I think that, too much make up is when you start looking like a totally different artificial person..

.. I think thats the red light, to stop with the make up and take some off!
