  1. Try using a makeup sponge. First, moisturize really well to make sure that your foundation blends nicely and doesn't get cakey or streaky. Next, pour a little bit of foundation onto your makeup sponge and make a few dabs on the areas you want to cover up. Go back with the sponge and blend the foundation outwards (towards your hairline and jawline). Start with a minimal amount of foundation, and then build up and add more if you need more coverage in certain areas. Afterwards, use a pressed or loose powder that matches your foundation, and sweep it on lightly over your forehead, the bridge of your nose, and your chin to prevent oilyness and shine.

As a suggestion for the moisturizer...try Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Moisturizer. It is non-oily, and when you use it under foundation, it helps give that "matte" look, unlike other moisturizers that may make your face shiny and oily in appearance. Plus, its only $10 at any drugstore. :P

    I hope this helped :)

  2. As long as you don't start caking your face with foundation or using crazy colors, you'll look natural. Go for natural colors, like peach or nude for your eyeshadow, and if you want to use blush, just powder your cheekbones very lightly. Also, bright red lipstick is obviously a no-no if you don't want to attract attention to your face. A peachy coral gloss looks way more natural and less fussy.

  3. as little as possible and you should get some cream that reduces shine

  4. go for mineral makeup instead. its much healthier and looks more natural

  5. try a liquid foundation. I suggest using a make up sponge.

    only apply to problem areas.
