How much memory is a 8mb memory card for ps2?

Question

I want to buy a memory card for my ps2. Is 8mb sufficient space? Should I buy two cards of this size? I mainly play only guitar hero and rockband. So what size/kind of memory card should I get?

i think you should only need 1, 8mb, because i have 1 and it holds all of my stuff.

that sounds like enough. i have an 8 mb and we have like 20 games saved multiple times

You should be good with an 8MB.  MY friend has 2 8MB and a 16MB and a 32MB and he still has enough space for like 20,000 game saves.

The 8mb memory card should be more than enough for guitar hero or rock band, but it might not be enough if you tend to play many sports games. I remember FIFA 08 used to take up about 4mb. Gran Turismo too.

But if you are worried, you could buy an extra card or buy a larger card from a different company.
