How much memory is available on a iPod touch 16GB?

I know with memory there's slightly less than what is stated, so it will be less than 16GB, but by how much?

  1. It will be about 15 or a tad bit more. After all the firmware and stuff is on it it's about a gig less


  2. I am looking at mine now . it is 14.6 GB
