How much memory of ram can a 32 bit windows vista let you have?

i have a strong mother board that supports up to 8 GB of ram but i don't know how much does my 32bit windows vista accepts. how clould i know?

  1. All x32 Operating Systems have a capacity of 4GB, but only 3.2-3.5GB of that is actually recognised. If you upgrade to vista x64 you cna get between 8GB and 128GB depending on the version of Vista (Home Basic> Vista)

  2. 32 bit vista supports 3.5 gb. any amount above that is absolutly ridiculous tho. if you want to pay for 8 gb of memory and get vista 64 bit, im not stopping you. its just a complete waste of money.

  3. 4GB is the limit, if you go 64bit its a silly amount :)
