Well there any multiple tournaments for a golfer to enter. The prize money also varies.

This weeks Buick tournament pays the winner about 1 million. That is a PGA event. Nationwide pays about $145,000 this week in the event in Canada. If you don't already know all this you are probably not a golfer.
