How much money can you take out of the bank?

Someone told me that she can only take $20,000 out of the bank at one time. I know she has at least $80,000 in the bank. Is she telling the truth?

Each bank is different.

They do NOT have unlimited cash just laying around for people to take large amounts out.

Ask the bank what their limit is.

No.  you can close an account and take out the entire balance if you want.
