How much money could I get from a ps2 slim at gamestop?

GameStop is a rip off. I mean, come on...$20-$40 for a Slimline PS2? They're still selling for over $100 new in stores, and I can't see how that much could be wrong with a previously owned Slim PS2 that'd make it bring only $20.

Try eBay or Craigslist. Craigslist is a lot like eBay, but there's no listing fees or anything like that. People who are local just contact you from your listing that you post about the item you're wanting to sell/trade.

You could clean up your PS2 and make it look really nice and shiny, and post it on there for about $70-$80. If you want more $$$, throw in some games and an accessory or two..You could get atleast a $100 for all of it.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.  I would just call GS or EB Games (same company), and get your answer that way.  I wouldn't be too shocked to hear a price of $20.  The systems sell for barely over a $100 brand new, so the used versions probably sell for around $75-80.  No way you're getting even half of that.

I got about 50 bucks for mine, and I didn't clean it or anything, maybe you'll get more for yours if you clean it a bit....you know, make it look nice and shiny.
