That depends on your credentials. If you have a bachelors degree, masters or phd. I know one that has a masters and is makeing over  $30.00 per hour on A job. When this job is finished in approx Aug he will go to another which is a larger scale job and I expect he will make much more. As to your getting a job in the field you must go to university and get a degree.  In this field your standing in the  anthropology field dictates what jobs you get. You must be very objective and never taint your research. In essence you are a research scientist. You must be able to prove every aspect of your finding with legitimate proof. Not just your opinion.
