How much money do i need to take(estimate) for my family of 6 to go on vacation to the beach?

Well  I have a family of 6. We take a yearly vacation to the beach. We always reserve the condo (not hotel room because there is not one big enough). It's about $1,200.00 for 7days and 6 nights. Then we determine how many times we are planning to go out to eat and what we will do for fun. We put around $500.00 back for that. For the most savings we go to the grocery store as soon as we get there and get a weeks worth of food(make it easy things). With a family of my size its hard not to go over $1500.00 but we have done it. We have took a grandparent to split the costs and give us a night to ourselves. I hope this helps!!
