  1. $10.00 -$20.00 per hour you generally start with a shovel to learn construction and from there you work your way up to  heavy equipment

  2. The starting salary is: $35.0275 per hour for a 40 hour work week, PLUS night and weekend pay differentials.

Equipment typically such as: cranes, pile drivers, pay-loaders and earth-movers.

  3. You take what ever the money you spent to buy it from the store, and sell it for more than that and the truckers keep money out of the profit.

  4. Trainees get about AU$80,000/pa. It max's out around $120,000/pa for experienced employees (who usually have tickets for other equipment as well).

It does depend on whether you are employed directly by the mine (more) or an employee of a contracted company (usually a little less).

Employees at more remote sites generally get more to, but some companies pay for airfares or offer a bus shuttle service to offset travel costs.

Free accommodation & food while on site (in a camp) is standard as well. At the end of the day  most would get about $150,000 in $ & extras.

Australia is one of the best paying countries, even US pay significantly less.

  5. 8 an hour
