How much money do people make in Columbia, South America? What are common jobs of people who live there?

Colombia is poor by our standards.  Many people are underemployed, but you see the usual mix of professions in the cities.  The war has driven many to migrate to the cities and they typically have a hard time and work as manual labor if they can find a job at all.  In the countryside, most are farmers.  The CIA Factbook estimates that per capita GDP is about $7200 and about 50% of the population is below the poverty line.  Sounds right in my experience there

in barranquilla,  most of the people are rich! im talking rich like they go to miami like twice or 3 times a year, all of them have maids and at least another house somewhere else in colombia
