  1. http://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/airli...

Go to that link. Click on the category and then find you airline. You will then probably find an hourly rate. Most airlines pay hourly and expect 70-80 hours a month plus per diem. Per diem is paid per hour on duty away from home so you add that to your hours to get approx. what they make.

Not that much money is what you will find.

  2. too much

  3. Even if someone does give you some figures, they won't be the truth.  It's not information that is available to the public.  There are a couple of sites that give approximate figures for the industry at large, but you won't get specifics from specific airlines.

But it's not "too much."  The person that said that should try shouldering those responsibilities for a while.  QED.

  4. Airlines don't "give" money, they pay compensation for services.

It's a lot but not too much.

Ranges from USD18.000 for 1st officers on regional aircraft to 200.000 or more for captains on large aircraft.

Based strictly on years of service, aircraft size, seat and reserve/line status.

  5. These figures can never be stated accurately in a generalised form. Each airline would pay its pilots according to seniority, experience and many other factors including extra qualifications and any other positions held in the airline. Your question is an exercise in futility.
