  1. millions. You can write books about it. Be in commercials.

  2. I don't know not all that much considering how hard the athlethes train and that they also have other jobs in order to stay financially stable. But i don't think that olympic athletes join the olympics for money i think the medal is worth way mroe than the money could possibly be anyway

  3. great question let me ask SPARTA!!!

  4. ZERO

  5. whats up

  6. "<></>"

  7. It depends on the country from which an athlete is from.Different countries will have different amount of prize money for those who won a medal.

  8. Canadians earn $20000 for gold, I just learned that on CBC.  Go USA!

  9. The U.S. is one of the lower prize money medal rewarders.

    Gold-25,000

    Silver- 15,000

    Bronze-10,000

However, the IOC will often help cover some training costs, etc once an athlete does qualify for the Olympics.  Partnerships with big companies also alleviate the costs of training.  For example, Home Depot, one of the major partners will offer Olympians jobs, pay them for a 40+ hour week, while they work only 20 and train for the remainder.

  10. Romania,at least pays (and I know this 100 % ) for every Gold medal, 80,000 EURO + 1 SUV car = total 100,000 EURO !!!!!!!!!

  11. Malaysia  500.000 €

    Greece 190.000 €

    Belarus  150.000 €

    China  120.000 €

    Spain  94.000 €

    Russia  34.000€

    Portugal  30.000 €

    USA  20.000 €

    Germany  15.000 €

  12. Singapore has the highest money for gold this year, almost US 1million, while America has one of the lowers reward for gold medalist, only around 50K. Du Li(the Chinese 10m shooter who lost first gold medal to Czech) was promised almost US 2 Mil for her to win the first gold, but that may just be the reason why she was out, lol, so high balls for reward money may not always be good.

  13. I didn't think you won any money.

  14. The International Olympic Committee does not award cash prizes to the winners. Many countries, however, do offer cash prizes and other incentives to medalists. And some Olympians get paid a performance bonus from sponsors for winning a medal and may sign commercial endorsements that could wind up paying them millions.
