How much money do you get for recycling aluminum cans?

5c per can in Oregon.   About 18  12 oz. cans per pound and aluminum was 60c per pound last I looked, so just over 3c per can for scrap.

I know it definitely depends on whoever is buying it. Where I live, you get $1820.00 per ton of aluminum.  We also have a 10 cent deposit that is returned if you take cans to a deposit station.  Total pain in the ****, but if it gets people recycling, it's worth it.
