  1. Well... I had a party and we had 19.5lbs of aluminum cans and we got $11.75

I think it says on the cans as well.

  2. you can get up to .70 cents a pound! But it will take about an1/2 hour of your time! If they are not backed up. Like at DMC recycling,N.Austin. The best time to go is at 8:00 am, or be ready to weight a for a hour!!. & as for the pull tabs-

they will sale for less- as they will be just Aluminum rated. you can call them, I've been the recycle job for 7-8 years now,& the price's

go up & down with the wind? or Demand! My main goul is to keep it out of the Earth!!. RT.

  3. go to www.earth911.org to locate a local recycle center, then use the contact info to call and see what their rate is. It can vary by location.

  4. well like most of the time 5 cents but u should recycle just to help ur planet out and not for money but yes  i think 5 cents

  5. in massachusetts its 5cents per can/bottle bas. anything that you drink out of! na you cant recycle suttin like that just throw'em away

  6. Well thats good you are recycling. The rate for cans varies and changes. I just recycled some a few days ago and it was $.70 for a lb. of aluminum cans. Not sure about bottles. We have a curbside collection that gets bottles and plastics. We just keep the cans separate and recycle ourselves for the extra money. Yes, you can recycle pull tabs also, but I'm not sure what they are worth. Also, if you use aluminum foil like to cook with instead of throwing that away you can recycle that also. Just throw it in with the cans and you get money for that also. Hope I could help you. :]

  7. It depends on the state you live in. some states have a 5 cent deposit that is added into the recycle price when you sell by the pound.

In Oregon you are paid the 5 cents per can when you take them back to the store. but in California they pay by the pound.

  8. We have a can crusher and have turned our cans in twice now filling a 40 gallon garbage bag and have recieved $30 dollars each time from Liberty Iron.
