Depends on what state you are in, some states you get nothing others you get around 5 cents.

If you live in Michigan you get 10 cents per can! In california you get 5 cents.

It depends on where you live.Iowa has 5 cent deposit, some states have 10 cent deposits, Illinois has no deposit but you can take them to recycling places that pay you by the pound. it takes approximately 24 cans to make 1 pound. i know this because i now live in Iowa, but i used to live in Illinois and i used to collect cans in Illinois for extra cigarette $. i also am looking at a dr..pepper 2 liter bottle that says Michigan 10 cents. i hope this answers your question.
