How much money do you get working in mines in Australia ?

im 16 want`ing too leave year 10 and do mining next year . Do yOu reckon its worth it > ?

I don't think they higher 16 year olds as miners.

like people chipping away in a mine.. miner?

I work in recruitment and placed IT people on site at mines and they said it sucked even though they were earning 500 a day they had to live in camp style accommodation during the week..

If you plan to mine alone it called private mining and its at your own safety risk. Depends wat you find. I tried mining in the Philippines this year (not that far from Australia you know) and I'm 13. I went with my cuz and we found about 2 grams of gold (converted to US dollars thats about $40)
