How much money do you have in savings?

Not to be rude, but I just need an average.

Well, thought this was alittle too personal and no body knows my bank account but me.....I have enough to live off of for quite some time.   It is not proper to ask how much someone has in thier account.   Haven't you been taught that?

I don't care what reason you are asking this for, it is too personal. Just save as much as you want/can. That's all anyone does.

I only have enough for 1 month without a paycheck.  You should strive to have 3 months or more in savings.  I am not counting my 401k saving because I see that as retirement only, not emergency cash.

Enough to live till 93..............60 retired and living on the beach......not a care in the world.........

The savings is sitting with just a few hundred. The checking has more in it though. Which is probably foolish since it's the savings that actually gains interest.

I AM 13. SO FAR IN MY ACCOUNT I HAVE 350. BUT THEN AGAIN I DON'T HAVE A JOB. MY ONLY INCOME ARE GFTS AND ESSAY WINNINGS.
