For public companies, they have to disclose compensation for their highest paid executives once a year in their proxy statements.  I'll give you the link below to the SEC's website.  Under formats, click on HTML, then open the first exhibit in the filing and scroll down to the compensation data.  Most CFOs compensation is public information.  Smaller Company CFOs will make between $120,000 and $200,000 and CFOs of larger companies make $300,000 - $1,000,000 depending on the size and complexity of the company.
