How much money does a lifeguard usually make?

Im planning on being a lifeguard next summer. But im not sure how much i would get. how much tax comes out of it then?

  2. Depends on where you're hired, but usually around $9-12 an hour. Expect about 8% tax cut out from your paychecks.

  5. it really does depend on your area and if a pool or ocean water park or private club. We have over 75 guards in the summer and 15 in the winter and there pay is by experience and certifications. club swim has job listings and some pay rates you could check for your area. hope this helps. good luck. and taxes are also on how many deductions you have but if this is your part time only job and you are a student you will probably get all your taxes back when you file.
