it depends on which country your represening ,and which post you work at ,for example an american ambassador to the U.K. would be looking at about 150-160 thousand dollars anually whereas a slovakian ambassador to the same possition would be looking at 50-75,000 annualy.Keep in mind however that ambassadors representing a country are different to the ones representing a company or organisation and along with that wages also different .
