$22.00 a day or  under 200 pesos...... $18.00 after tax and s.s. which  is bad after the 12+ hrs. shift  of h**l.

   WHAT'S WORSE IS THAT THE PRICES IN MEXICO HAVE GONE UP AND THAT CAN'T BUY MUCH IN MOST OF  THE COMMON MARKETS.  HOW BAD IS THAT???

     CAN YOU FEED 8 PEEPS  WITH UNDER 10 DLLS. IN MEXICO???  

    SOME DO AND OTHERS HAVE TO BEG FOR MORE CASH AND COUNT ON  THE  PEEPS THAT HAVE MORE TO GIVE THEM.

depends in which part of the country you live. But the highest minimum wage is around 58.00 PESOS A DAY. that IS A DAY consisting of 12 hr. shifts and one rotating day off a week. do not worry, some companies will give the shirt of their back and pay you  2 minn. salaries a day.

I lived in Mexico on and off for 2 years. My children's father worked 12 hours a day loading sand in trucks which there was alot of them that did that and he made usally like 20.00 dollers a day u.s. money 200.00 pecos thou. So there you have it.

I think that depends on where you are working I know that when we go to the resorts we all tip heavy so that wage has got to go up The bartending jobs must be a commodity there. When we were in Cancun my cousin gave the bartender 100.00 on the first day to open an hour early. but I always tip the maid 2.00 bucks a day the bartender 5.00 a day and the wait staff 2.00 each meal. I watch the bar staffs tip jar and it's pretty darn full each day.

The site below indicates the current average daily wage is 209 pesos a day.  This include all occupations form professors and doctors to laborers.  The average NON-PROFESSIONAL Mexican makes much less. Usually  50 to 100 pesos per day...that is about $5.00usd to $10.00 usd per day.
