How much money does an ok mma fighter makes in wec or ufc?

wec pays 2,000- 30,000.  wec dosent pay its fighters alot compared to ufc witch pays 5,000- 500,000.   chuck liddel can make 500,000 a fight.  He get payed extra depending how many pay per views are bought.

The "OK" ones never make it to the television screen and have to get day jobs like everybody else.

The stars you see and admire are from the top 1 percent of contenders. Everybody else is just a stepping stone.

Im from Australia, MMA fighters here feel blessed if they get $1k for the fight, they get accommodation and flights too though.

If you've seen The Ultimate Fighter, they were paying $5k if you win a fight via KO/Submission, and all the fighters were stoked, so obviously thats quite a lot to them for a fight.

In my opinion you have to be "ok" just to fight in the ufc.  Their ok salaries range from $4,000-30,000 per fight, depending on how many times you've fought in the ufc & how many wins you have, or at least how many fans you can put in the seats (meaning how well liked you are).
